Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

Reporting directly to the CFO of Ohly Americas, you will be a critical player in driving financial excellence.

• Fiduciary Responsibility: Lead the monthly close, quarterly forecasts, and annual budget processes. Possess a strong knowledge of accounting principles related to accruals, inventory costs, fixed asset capitalization, and other supply chain manufacturing technical accounting. Provide expertise on policy compliance, governance, adherence to accounting standards and internal controls. Champion a strong governance and controls mindset. 
• Financial Analysis: Develop relevant and insightful financial analyses, connecting results to operational behaviors to drive actionable decisions and improvements throughout the organization.
• Strategy Development and Planning: Provide financial expertise and strategic partnership through sophisticated modeling and analyses to optimize both top and bottom-line performance through effective margin enhancement and cost reduction initiatives.
• Business Partnership: Operate effectively cross-functionally, utilizing your influencing skills to contribute to the development and implementation of business strategy. Prepare thorough analyses while partnering with business leaders to bring forward clear and concise recommendations. Develop accurate and reliable financial forecasts for your business partners.

Your Education & Work Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration required; CPA is a plus
• Superior analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and effectively prioritize workload in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
• Ability to present concise explanations and recommend clear courses of action to both peers and leadership. A collaborative team player with the ability to effectively influence others within the business and finance function.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Prior experience with ERP systems; familiarity with MS Dynamics 365 is a plus.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
• Prior experience working within a manufacturing company is preferred.
