Project Engineer (m/f/d)

Our team of process and project engineers is dedicated to continuously optimizing our processes and supporting new production facilities from conception to commissioning. 

We are therefore looking for a Project Engineer (m/f/d) to join our Process Engineering & Development (PED) department as soon as possible.

Your tasks:

• Leading and managing investment projects (CAPEX) from the idea phase (concept & design) to handover to production (commissioning)
• Considering budget, schedule, and quality goals as well as compliance with safety and environmental standards
• Close collaboration with process engineers, maintenance, and production
• Developing User Requirement Specifications (URS) together with the relevant departments
• Reporting and presenting ideas, project statuses, and results in cross-functional committees (Steering Committee) and to the management team
• Project-related technical leadership of employees from production, maintenance, and external service providers

Your profile:

• Completed engineering studies, e.g., in process engineering, production engineering, chemical and bioengineering, energy engineering, or a comparable technical qualification
• Motivation for managing investment projects in an industrial environment
• Knowledge and interest in the food, biotech, or chemical industry
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
• Knowledge in the field of energy engineering and energy efficiency is additionally helpful
