We are looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer (m/f/d) to shape and scale our global analytics capabilities while staying hands-on in building modern data solutions. This role blends technical excellence with analytics leadership, ensuring our data products are consistent, scalable, and aligned with business needs.
You will play a key role in defining best practices, building enterprise-grade semantic models, and driving a global analytics community—while actively contributing to development.
The Role & Your Tasks
Leadership
- Lead and grow our global Power BI community
- Coach, mentor, and upskill distributed analytics teams using structured enablement approaches
- Act as a global point of contact for analytics best practices and governance
Technical & Specialist Responsibilities
- Drive the evolution of analytics and reporting capabilities across the organization
- Define and implement best practices for data modeling, analytics development, and reporting standards
- Ensure KPI consistency and metric accuracy across business domains
- Design and build scalable semantic models and enterprise datasets
- Develop impactful Power BI dashboards and analytical solutions
- Build and maintain data transformations and analytics datasets within our platform
- Contribute hands-on within a dedicated business domain
- Collaborate with the Microsoft Fabric platform team to align with architecture standards
- Guide onboarding of new analytics initiatives and data sources
- Act as an escalation point for complex analytics challenges
- Drive documentation, governance, and sustainable development practices
Collaboration
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate needs into scalable data solutions
- Work cross-functionally with global teams across regions
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Delta Lake, Dataflows, Notebooks)
- Strong expertise in Power BI (semantic models, DAX, enterprise dashboards)
- Experience in modern data platforms (Fabric, Azure, or similar)
- Advanced Python skills for data pipelines, transformations, and automation
- Strong SQL and ETL/ELT experience
- Proven track record of building enterprise-level semantic data models
- Experience in data governance, metadata standards, and data quality frameworks
- Exposure to AI-enabled analytics (e.g., anomaly detection, AI insights, generative AI in BI)

- Ability to translate business needs into scalable analytics solutions
- Structured approach to data modeling and reusable datasets
- Strong understanding of data quality, KPI harmonization, and governance
- Experience organizing analytics development processes (versioning, documentation, maintainability)
- Ability to coordinate initiatives across multiple domains and regions
